Cereal Straws

I do not know what Kellogg's was thinking when they introduce Cereal Straws. Maybe there are a few kids out there that think the idea is great. Froot Loops, Cocoa Krispies and Apple Jacks are the Cereal Straws that are available.

Living On Cereal put Cereal Straws to a taste test by inviting two beautiful girls (my daughters of course) to participate in this blindfolded taste test. First the participants were blindfolded with a fresh sock from Living On Cereal's sock drawer. The participants were each given a straw to drink milk from. The results were not good. One participant stated, "Dad, what in the world were you thinking? These things are gross". Another participant stated as she spit out the milk, "I do not like this; Dad can I have a popsicle".

Living On Cereal does not recommend purchasing Cereal Straws. Cereal Straws are not that tasty and they eliminate the tradition of picking up your bowl and drinking the leftover milk from it (which I have found to be good etiquette in homes that do not eat off paper plates). Not only do this straws taste bad and eliminate a cereal tradition but they cost between $3 and $4 per box. That would buy a lot of cereal for families who are Living On Cereal.

Also, I want you to find the name of the fruity cereal that came out in the late 80s that had a cartoon chief of an island tribe. He was like a big kahuna or something. The commercial always had the same song and it always ended with the Chief guy saying, "Uggha Buggha."
